You can't really replace the facia as then you will loose your heating control functions... You can however get it modified to accomodate an aftermarket headunit. This costs around £200. Someone on here has done it, but have forgotten who. You can also fit one underneath the steering wheel, and I am going to be looking into fitting one in place of the middle heating vents, although I don't know if this is possible.

Give Hooch a PM as he fitted a custom head unit into my cupra. Done a swell job of it aswell, although I dont have the MPG function but air con is all working etc. Pretty sure he charges around £70 for the fitting?

Sorry Adam I just been on to my bro as he's been away all week! He wants to buy it off me as it is, so looks like it won't be up for grabs. He hasn't got it insured yet as he isn't driving it, so if the insurance costs him too much with the mods I'll be taking it off the car.

what did you use to convert the high input to RCA for the amp ? or does your amp have high inputs ?

i am replacing my sub now as im tired of the box being so big in out tiny little boot. trying to find something good that maybe uses that area by the wheel arch.

tempted to get a custom one made from a local firm that do fibre glass mouldings, no idea how much that would cost though.

Great news!

My wheel hunt is over, just bought a set of Seat Sport OZ's off a fellow forum member!

Just need to get a courier sorted, I'll take some pics as soon as I get them.

Also got my exhaust sorted, well temporarily at least, cut out the bumper and bought a chrome tailpipe end, so it's nothing fancy but does look better.

Car's looking good mate! I think the seat sport OZ's are the best wheels for the mk3 ibiza, dare i say it, the perfect wheel in my opinion! Can't wait to see pics of em on!

The fellow non-cupra owners may have noticed not been on here much and not done anything to car for aaaaaaaaaaaaaaages... that's because i'm unfortunatley thinking about selling my beautiful little ibiza
can't afford the petrol, need to get a diesel for amount of miles i do! But all isn't lost, am looking at hopefully a 1.9 tdi mk3 beeza, or a 1.9tdi mk1 leon.
Only prob is that had a look on ebay etc and our cars don't seem to go for that much :(

Ha, sorry about the essay, didn't realise typed that much!!! :ban:

No mine didnt sag, It felt a bit weaker, but kept its shape ok.

Once I added the mesh it was back to its original strength.

Though I'm just thinking, I kept the little bits that stuck out in the middle...

Did you keep them or cut them out?
