Im just looking at a kit on ebay and trying to figure out the wiring.
The ballasts have obviously got the wires that connect to the HID bulbs.
Am I right in assuming that the ballasts will be connected to each other via a wire, then wired to a power source?
On each ballast there looks like there is a port for a plug/wire.

Each side is wired separately.

You have spade connectors that connect to the cars bulb connectors simple push fit, and the plug that feeds the bulbs goes to the ballast, be simple when it's in front of you, just post up if any problems.

The wires that feed your current bulbs feed each ballast ... each ballast then feeds one light. Dead simple.

No .. it's all generated in the ballast by the feed from the old light wires. The ballast generates all the power required.

No gets it's feed from the headlight hence the two spades that you connect up.

Oh Pat I get you. The ballast basically uses the original wiring, converts the charge, then feeds the new wire and HID bulb the converted current.

Am I right?

I had sonar make before and H1 fitted fine.

Yeah mine were ultra too, they may have changed the design though over time.

Just checked the box in the garage. Just says ULTRA - Auto Cosmetics

Yeah on the front.

Do the adjusters all line up ok?

Yeah everything is lined up fine. The lights are all the same height etc. The lens is just blank other than the e mark and a couple of serial numbers
