Yes, although I am going to remove them too and fit resistors.

Here's some quick pics since the SAI and PCV removal. Merlin Motorsport made me a 1" alloy re-circ. pipe which is much neater than a long hose:

Forge 007P re-circ. from the coldside, it's actually pretty loud! vac source directly off the intake mani helps alot, as does the open cone and alloy re-circ. pipe.

I rarely ever drive at night, plus I needed the money for repairs, so I had to sell them. I'll be sending off my turbo soon to CR Turbos to be re-worked for more power, hopefully it will be up around the 300bhp mark, should be as it's around 285 now and they're fitting a larger compressor wheel so 15 extra horses should be do-able.

If anything lag will increase from the larger compressor wheel - don't know TBH.

Following on from removing the SAI and PCV systems, I have now removed the EVAP (carbon canister), relocated the washer tank to the boot and changed the coolant reservoir for a much smaller Bailey alloy tank from a Focus RS (chargecooler tank). I had thought about removing the coolant reservoir altogether, as shown in this thread, but decided I'd go a different route and downsize it but still retain a small tank. It works, no fault codes or check lights, sounds awesome ........ so it's staying on! It holds boost WAY better than the Forge 007P, I've had to reduce my Apexi boost settings ALOT to get the correct boost level back again.

Finally - Sonic the Leon? Yep, my new mascot is Sonic the Hedgehog, little badge on the boot and a soft toy in the car (my daughters really - honest!).

Why? Well because Sonic is blue and fast, just like my car ... lol! I got the idea from seeing all these Scooby owners with Scooby Doo toys in their cars!!!!!

Looks really nice Rob. I've thought about moving my washer bottle to the boot. Was it a difficult job?

Quite easy yes. All I did was connect the front washer pipe to the rear feed in the engine bay (they just push together right where the bottle was), split the join in the boot and connect the front to the rear feed from the bay, and the rear to the rear pipe in the boot - simple. I only needed to run 2 wires for the pump to the boot, I put a resistor on the level sensor as that's not important for washer fluid IMO.

330ohm, 10-watt Resistors on the EVAP and coolant level sensors too, so no warning lights or faults.

Cheers Rob, doesn't sound a difficult job. I don't have a level sensor on mine anyway so that wouldn't be a problem. Might have to look into this at some point.

Hopefully the end of the month. They quoted me £255 + VAT to machine the housing, fit larger compressor wheel, 360 thrust bearing, re-work the actuator arm for better boost control and also fit a 1.5mm oil restrictor because the GT2X doesn't come with one and the 1.8T runs pretty high oil pressure, so they're fitting one to bring it down a bit for the turbo oil seals sake!

If it adds 20hp then that's me up around the 300 mark. :D

So far CR Turbos have been really great and REALLY know their stuff, very fast turnaround too I believe.

Rob, it has to be said your Leon is gorgeous and def. my favourite car on this forum.
