I dont no just to go past me

I didn't need it at Lydden :cartman:, i wasn't going to do it but you know what im like when i get an idea mate

It bolts to the head okay but everything moves over to the right (as you look at the engine, a bit more) this is where it's getting interesting on mine, the tip is now directly where the heater pipes are so im reworking them at present, dp is spot on but my centre pipe is about 3" short of meeting it so will need extending, im just taking my time with it and trying to do it all right so im happy with it

The parts i got from Alex were

K04 & manifold
All the oil and coolant lines
Charge pipe
Tip
ECU with map
Uprated injectors
DP and de cat pipe

Extra's i've needed so far are 3" maf and a new air filter, various gaskets and washers and a few bits of pipe, there's deffinatly going to be more as i go though

Ive said it before but I will definetely say it again, ur car is amazing!!

Will be even more impressive with the ko4 turbo and manifold. I would love to see this in the flesh.

Cheers, it's mainly at track days you'll see me with it as that's what i use it for, although i do go to the odd show every now and again

love this car, we'll have to meet up at some point roly and have a compare, although yours is much higher specced than mine

It won't be on the road for the next kent meet but im sure once it's done i'll be getting out and about in it a bit more

Well things have kind of come to a halt due to requiring more silicon hose that i don't have

The DP is now bolted on along with the egt and wide band lambda sensor, the wiring is through the firewall and inside the car ready for pluging in.

I decided while i was waiting for parts for the engine i may aswell pull the dash out ready to replace it with my new one (reason for this is the holes i cut for the cage were a bit messy) i also set about the cupra R pillar pod adding an extra hole so i could get my new vems gauge in there

Tomorrow i'll hopefully have the dash back in and the gauges all re-wired, then it's just a matter of waiting for the next delivery of bits

Dash was a last minute decission, gave me a head start today though which was good, no probs with doing yours mate gave me a break from mine, soz about last night aswell

this is one stunning car!

can i ask how much you paid for the cupra r gauge pod roly?

Thanks

I brought a complete accessory centre console on flebay but the gauge holder is about a tenner from the main dealer

That was where the sound deadening was stuck on and i took it off (there's no paint missing just the sticky stuff off the sound deadening that didn't come off) you don't have to beat anything to make the dash fit, it's just the top A pillar brackets that don't line up
