'Black magic' metallic black, V reg dec 99 model.
I got it with 1 mile on the clock last year after it had spent its entire life sat at the back of a seat factory (and then my dads mates bodyshop) with some minor damage from an accident in transport.

It still had the plastic covers on the seats and floor, barcodes on the glass and celotape around the windows. It was pretty much a timewarp car.

It came with a set of horrible seat alloys and no headunit :D

mods are
7x17 BSA rush black wheels
jackson tuning suspension kit
Cupra side skirts,chin spoiler,16v boot spoiler,Cupra headlights
Silver bulbs (flash orange)
clear side reps
meshed fog holes
chrome number plate holders
alloy heater controls
genuine SEAT mat set
tape/radio headunit with 6 disc changer.

Looking to paint the horrible rear panel over in met black, get a GTI or MK3 steering wheel, some dash painting in matt black and strut braces/brake upgrade.

Cant be bothered with any tuning as its not worth it,though i may use the idea someone had on this foprum about adding the large induction pipe.

I have to agree with what rich said. How lucky are you!!

I mean an 8 year old car with only 1 mile on it when you got it and still with all the plastic covers on the seats etc etc.

How come I never find anything like that?!

Nice car though!!

Amazing mileage!

Be careful with the mods though as it would be shame if it became a Halfords special!!

I'd be tempted to keep it completely as standard except suspension improvements and wheels as its uniqueness other than mileage is its originality.

I'd possibly follow that up with an engine replacement (16v,VR6,1.8T) later as a street sleeper!

That really is unbelieveable. The front speakers arent even in the dash or anything. All the plastic covers still over the seats and the floor and everything.

I wish I could find something like that cos my 1.4 is now on 105,000 .

Just out of curiosity how much did it cost you?? Thats if you are willing to say.

Its not going to become a halfords special, dont worry. I even stuck the standard gear knob and gaiter back in and took the badge off the dash i put on. :D
The interior is totally standard now other than the heater dials and an air freshener.

Im only doing reversable mods such as wheels and suspension,im not even going to fit strut braces or bigger brakes now after reading suggestions to keep it original.Ill work out how much it cost me in total today.

Engbudd, the wheels are BSA rush black
