What turbo you goin for?

im not sure i want 350+ so its aint going to be cheap! im thinking of just giving it to someone and saying do it and il pay the bill instead of doing all the running around engine out etc! just really depends on how much more it is

but the sensible thing would be to do it over the winter making the most of my garage and people i know, eg engine builder, and my mate with the diff

the only reason i am planning it for the end of the year is i finally qualify from my apprenticship in september so will have a pay rise of around 800 a month! plus i can work a little over time to help with the funds

Thats a lot of money, gotta be upwards of 5k i reckon if your gonna pay someone.

turbo, manifold, downpipe, inlet, oil lines, rods, fuel pump, injectors, remap, bigger cooler, diff, clutch and fly, say goodbye to a lot of money.

You may aswell get a car that isn't going to fall apart, around the engine.

i love the car so its gnga be done just in good time, i was thinking about doing it now but decided its the right time to do my bike test and get my self a second weapon for the road while i can

so with my pay rise and the fact of being 21 il be able to insure it a little easier etc otherwise im putting to much at risk, for now im going to do the so called senisble thing get the interior done and get the bike! lol

jabba do drive in out jobs ihi which is around the 5k mark plus the diff, brakes and other ovious upgrade you need to run big power, which i could be tempted with i just want it to be resonabley reliable too so will have to look deeper into it all

on the interior front im now taking the car up not the whole interior and leaving it with them and getting the train back! nice 4hr drive followed by a 5.5 hour train ride, then the same a week later!

its been a while since iv driven my car but today it gave a huge smile on my face!

my carbon bonnet is on my car and i love it, it could be the best mod for a long time!

forgot to mention i want to remove my window tints due to having my leather retrim so if anyone wants to swap complete windows more than wecome, seems a waste pulling 400quid tints off for no reason!

there a light to medium smoke all round very sutle just want a change!

phil did you sort out your problem with the timing after ?

Timing is done, code still there so i've bought a new chain and tensioner as something was up with it coz it was hitting the cam cover, whether or not it fixes the timing code is another thing.

Another one ticked off the list. Had a sticking helper spring on the drivers side coily, wheels off and cleaned, suspension adjusted, cleaned and greased up along with the arches. lovely.

Just need that chain and tensioner now so i can drive it.


Next on the repair list are...

New fixings for the door cards
Sort out my drivers side door electric problem, passenger side window doesnt work from the switch or the mirror adjuster doesnt work. Drivers side window switch workins fine tho.

Some new seat(s) end of the month, might just get one, sell the interior as whole then buy the second one. easier on the wallet. lol.

I really fancied some Focus RS style ones, but any that look remotely like them, look shite.

Grrrrrr I hate choosing wheels.
Hated it on my last car, hated it on this car, and will not change them on my next car. (If its a FRS)

If i was changing wheels i'd have no idea what i'd go for.

Something lightweight with brake clearance tho, pro race 1.2's, super GT's or ultra legs maybe.
