I was surprised by the conditions, as were the organisers by the looks of it. Last couple of times i've been up to Croft i've come back burnt to a crisp.

British summertime eh :D

Also what has matt jackson got against turner? Nudged him off in two races when there was no need and he didnt have the line or have his nose any further forward than his rear wheel.

What an awful day of weather! I left a scorching Scotland on Saturday at midday (yes seriously!! :p ) and it was similar at Croft, if a little cloudy. Then when I saw the rain on the hotel room window on Sunday, I feared the worst. Some amount of standing water on the roads from Stockton to Croft, must have rained really heavily overnight.

Race one was just bizarre. Don't think anyone can get their heads round what happened, but we will take the 15 points thank you. ;) Race two was a cracker with the improving conditions and wearing wet tyres. Glad Jackson didn't win as we'd never hear the end of it from the bandwagon jumpers in the media and on forums. I wonder what they have to say for him wiping out Darren Turner in race three? :ban:

Those diesels just looked terrible in the wet, a real handful. Adam Jones did well in the petrol car though.

Indeed.. they've had plenty of practice.. :(

The problem with SEAT is that whereas everyone else has bouts of bad luck, which is inevitable; year after year they inflict themselves with mistakes/infringements all too often when other teams don't..

Such a shame given they obviously work very hard indeed

That is what I have always believed elsewhere but always got shot down for it. In terms of reliability, consistency, luck and just everything you cannot compare us to VXR.

One word that came to me when I saw the Vectras race by is "flawless". Flawless driving from Giovanadi and Neal every time. They never seem stuggle with mistakes and infringements; whatever the conditions or where they are placed. But to me it doesn't appear on a year-after-year basis. It seems to me it can happen on a race-by-race basis too.

well i was there yesterday and have to say that was the wettest croft i have ever seen in the 5 years i've been going there. There was not only standing water on the track but the whole area was soaked through.
The exit from the grass cark park was rather entertaining come the end of the day:cartman::lol:

I've never seen a Range rover struggle in mud before..

Couldn't agree more. The entrance through the fence to the ticket booth opposite the SEAT tent was like a lake. I could stand the rain. I just couldn't stand the freezing cold and sopping wet socks.

Still, I had my new SEAT neoprene outer jacket which worked wonders. I must say to the nice blonde girl thanks for allowing me to wear it straight away.

I was surprised by the conditions, as were the organisers by the looks of it. Last couple of times i've been up to Croft i've come back burnt to a crisp.

I will never complain when I get sunburn again. I will remember yesterday and appreciate the heat. Even if it burns me to a crisp.

Because I am talking about Croft racing circuit. A place I love. I shouldn't have gone away glad.

I even said, "C'mon!", sensing some injustice from Jackson. And to add insult to injury the truck that moved DT's car nearly broke the already broken bumper off by going forward instead of backward.

Those diesels just looked terrible in the wet, a real handful.

We have done poorly every time it has rained. Hope it never rains again.

Adam Jones did well in the petrol car though.

AJ is still head, only just, but he is still head of Jackson. If Wacko Jacko' loses the race for the Independents trophy it may offer some justice for the move on DT.
