Rob, what are your first impressions of the light performance of the projectors?!

I assume your car is off the road at the minute and maybe you haven't had the chance to drive it at night yet to fully know how well they perform compared to the OEM head lamps.

as you can see I'm looking forward to your opinion on their performance!

Still waiting on my throttle body and inlet manifold coming back from Headtune, once they're back and on the car, then it'll be back on the road. Will comment on the projector performance with halogens first, then I'll fit the HID's.

Compomotive MVS wheels. Very light and strong, alot lighter than the old MO's. had problems with the powdercoat cracking on them but Comp re-did them for me so seem fine now. MO's are around 26lbs per rim and the MVS are around 18lbs, 8lbs a corner lighter = 32lbs overall less weight!

My throttle body and manifold arrived back from Headtune today, throttle body looks amazing inside. Smoothed and polished, the step in front of the butterfly plate has been smoothed away, the plate has been knife-edged and flush screws fitted:

Being a nice warm day today I sprayed the TB in heat-resistant satin black (can't be bothered with polished stuff these days!):

After leaving it in the sun for a while then drying it with a hot air gun, I fitted it then did a throttle body alignment using VAG-COM.

Car back together so I took it for a drive, the throttle was mental! I think with the modified throttle, now the Sprintbooster signals are way too sensitive, car worked on very light throttle but put your foot down and nothing, no throttle! I have removed the Sprintbooster module and will try it again tomorrow, if it's still the same then I can't use this throttle body!

Inlet manifold needs more work so is not ready yet.

I think I've worked out the problem I had today, hoses on the wrong way on the oil separator tank, too much pressure!

No idea, still got major problems with the throttle! On the upside, my HID kit arrived today and I have everything required for the headlamp washers, so will get all this fitted soon.

Still waiting on a new accelerator pedal, but have fitted new plugs and temp sensor, so hopefully getting closer to a fix!

In the meantime I have removed the Forge oil separator tank and fitted a Saikou Michi tank ... a what you say? Saikou Michi make 'proper' baffled oil catch tanks, most tanks on the market are just empty cans that do very little, the Saikou Michi actually does a proper job of separating the oil mist from air so only air is returned back to the inlet.
