Widening the Track + 5 stud

Could you not use the toledo flanges pressed into the Ibiza hubs for the fronts? Been looking into this myself, am I way off the mark in thinking that 6k/6k2's are the same in this dept and that toledo's are pretty much just a 5 stud 6k2?

not sure on the exact race sizes but if bigger theres a possibility it could be machined to match but then may as well have original redrilled to 5 stud pcd anyway just as easy and will fit in no problems

depends on how much 'extra' width you are after as a wheel 1J (inch) wider is nigh on 25mm and tweaking ET offset could put it pretty close but then thats really not as efficent as a wider track but pretty close
