I took the car on track at Lydden on Monday and had lots of fun! I'm much happier with how the car handles. Slight boosting problem at the moment but hopefully it's an easy fix.

Got these made up today :)

Of course you'll have to change those when a 3rd one gets built:p

I thought about that when i was getting them done! If a third one gets built, they can buy the plaques! I didn't realise engraving was so expensive!

I paid £30 for the plaques and the engraving. She originally wanted £42 but i worked my magic on her!

Oooo shiney!there nice,do you know what your boost problem was?

Not really sure what it is. The map has always spiked to around 19psi then drops to 14psi pretty quickly. It's only been going into limp since the engine was out, so could be something to do with the actuator we fitted, even though it was put back it on the same thread it came out on. I guess it's a job for the weekend!

I got the ECU with a stage 1 map from Roly when he went stage 2. It always spiked on his car too. It won't get mapped again on this turbo, i'll just wait til i can afford to get a bigger one!

Haha! Better get ready for some expensive engraving then!!

They're self-adhesive mate so we can stick them anywhere without the need to drill anything:) Front panel maybe?

Jobs a good'un then mate, i reckon they'll end up on the front panel, we'll have a look at your boosting issue over the weekend (empty workshop on sat)

Just thought i'd post a picture my brother took of the car on track at Lydden on Monday :)

Got a bit more work done under the bonnet today. Changed the vaccum lines for black and re-routed the boost gauge line too. I peeled off the stickers from the front panel as they were looking a bit tatty, and painted the power steering cap and dipstick handle black. I'll eventually get a Neuspeed handle for the dipstick when i get my polished rocker cover and bracket back! I'm also going to get a new dipstick tube and paint it black before it goes on the car.

Just need to get a black TIP now, and then see how out of place the rocker cover looks!
