i have tried to do mine while its still in. Prob would of been better taking it out. I dont know how im going to put the gear box back in on my own. And to top it all off. Once i got the box off i didn't have a f***ing spline socket to take clutch off

What a day that was. The top gear style of stripping the cars interior was so funny. Phil mentioned to Jonzy to do it, and shortly after there was feck all in the car!

And Phil's car is a fooking beast, it just slings you back. Its so quick off the mark,

Cracking day lads, will have to do it again.

BTW, its now too lots of Classics I owe you both! And dont worry i will pay up with them.

New wheels needed, suggstions on a forum please!

I am thinking Audi RS4 / TT replica's which i've found for £330, or £425 with tyres.

This is on rimstyle's website, but anywhere else that does 0% finance would be good. Dont wanna spend thousands.

Any suggestions? I've loked at loads but not sure what'll look good.
Not sure on dark wheels on the blue car, and it kinda needs to be on finance, as i'm trying to pay off my credit card.

The best advice i have ever been given. Much appreciated! Thanks mate

It was good advice lol

Get the engine on a hoist and lift it enough to get the diff casing over the subframe, its just blood sweat and tears to get it back in.

As Phil said, its much much easier to lift the engine, its only about 3-4 extra bolts and a few hoses to get it out.
