No probs, sounded like something to do with the starter.

well i thought it was something to do with starter but couldn't see any thing at first. Well the car is up and running. I bled the clutch and it feels nice and bouncy so my mum says. She was my pedal pusher. I need to pick up my gear linkage from audi tomorrow morning and that should take 5min to fit its just getting all the gears again lol.

How do i go easy on a clutch. Dont batter car around every where?

Yeah no full throttle launches of giving it beans for a few miles, let it bed in nicely.

bah i went to inters and on the strip 3 days after changing mine. less than 200miles and i was ragging it. nearly 2 years ago that

strange how he got limp mode though! wouldnt have thought it would of made that much of a difference! maybe i should try the j valve!

oh god, i think i needed to reset the ECU or something. it must've been 5psi as it was still spooling but no power at all. pulled into texaco just before a48 and changed it over then. was back to full boost

about 100 miles is alright to bed it in.
need to do some logs to sort mine out, even if i end up giving it to a garage to sort out it would be nice to know what it was first ie boost leak etc

not far at all, met plenty of the boys from stroud in the past, half hour blast from cheppo

sadly dont think the trial version is much use for detecting a boost leak cos you cant log actual vs requested

though myki might be willing to help with that

im just guessing at a boost leak, its running rich and going into limp mode occasionally in 4th/5th and has had 4 new coilpacks, a maf and a pre cat lambda.
before i fitted the lambda it was running like ****, misfiring and running lean, but now it runs fine for a while and then again after code is cleared.
