I'll be 26 in Oct, first baby coming September, the Leon's the sportiest, youngest car I've ever had. Does anyone know if baby sick will come out of the FR cloth easily?

Should have opted for a Stylance with leather seats

It's also why i'm not having kids with the Cupra! Even if they up-chuck, i'd leave it in the hands of a valleter to clean up :p

Keeping things on track tho, im 23, and a mere baby myself looking at the age of some peeps on here ;)

53 years old and have done the first 300 miles in my Cupra K1, formerly had Cupra R, Rover 220GSI, XR3s , XR2's - I too posed myself the question "shouldn't I be getting something more 'comfortable?' " but I quickly realised I wouldn't have enjoyed it - always have a smile on my face behind the wheel - even more lately !

Phil and Chris.

Guys
Im getting some some stick at work for choosing such a "young looking car"
(Leon FR TDi, Black, 18in alloys, Bluetooth, Armrest)
Comments like "are you having a mid life crisis" are being thrown around.
All very funny for the idiots making them, but its got me thinking -
At 43 am I too old to be driving this car?
I would be interested to here your ages and comments please.
Andy

We are in our early 50's.When we are really old we will buy a GTI!

What's age got to do with it

I'm nearly 55 and have just bought a new FR TDI. I keep saying this is the last of the 'hot hatches' but it's a difficult thing to let go of, especially when you've been used to driving performance cars for soooooooooooo long. From the other posts it looks like there are a lot of us old wrinklies that refuse to let go.

im 22, got the mk2 Cupra. Sorted.

So glad i got the Cupra. Stupid FR drivers* lol, one pulled out on me on the m62 yesterday, then proceeded to put his foot down.... i stayed glued to him like ...something gluey... then i proceeded to overtake him...once he got a glance at the good old "Cupra" badge..he backed off lol.

Why oh why doesnt the cupra have something on the front to say its a Cupra! then i wouldnt have to go through wasting all that petrol to to overtake the FR. Grrrrrr.

* not all FR drivers, just that one :)

lol - I just keep a look out for the extra black around the number plates. Subtle, but if you know what you are looking for..... :)

As for Age. Just turned 39.... always wanted a hot hatch (just ordered FR TFSI). Haven't experienced mid life crisis (I have 12 months to go for that!) and in any case, when the crisis kicks in, you are supposed to buy beemer Z4's ;)

35, FR Tdi CC Remap, enjoyed sticking with a CUPRA the other day who was getting quite annoyed that a smokey FR could keep up with him.

I'm 35. Was feeling very middle aged and sensible driving round in the Golf... Feel young again with the Cupra and its bad-boy tinted windows and sports seats.

25, and drive a fr550, my first new car, had i 02a4tdi before, and then 7 civics, and 4nova's, think i was abit of a chav back then.

6 year no claims, and 6 years driving, i pay 400 fully comp for my fr, would only be 700 for a cupra but i cant afford the petrol
