Sorry boys but I think I win this one hands down. I turned 60 last time round and absolutely love my TFSi. with its 263bhp re-map, red leather re-trim, lowered suspension and 18 inch wheels etc, etc. etc. I've been a regular on the show scene for many years with air cooled beetles, Mk2 Golfs, Mk4 Golfs, Corrados and latterly the Leon. Some of you may know the car and if you see it at any shows this year, come over and say hello. They say that you are as old as you feel, well I still feel like I did in my 20s and I don't intend to change any time soon.!!!!!!!!!

Been driving fast Leons throughout my 20s and turn 30 this year just in time to take delivery of my CW K1. I think balls to it, as long as you're happy and feel good driving it.

Must be something in the very expensive water down here in Plymouth, I turned 52, but its nice to see even older guys local around driving great cars.

Looking at your profile you got the same car, Tdi fr 204bhp/ 420nm and the cars you have had are all that have been around during my driving years. Real cars that you took your own life in your hands, ie no abs, servo ass brakes, eps, steering with the back of the car around bends, not so much aggresive driving around and finally so much less traffic on the roads. Still its a lot safer, may be not such fun though.

Agree! 52 years young this year and had the Mk1 150 TDi PD Cupra for 3 years. With the "kids" now aged 24 and 21 (but still at home ) I now drive the car "I want" :p The TFSI FR DSG :p :p.

Are the kids on my insurance policy? NO :censored: CHANCE

The Steyer had ocassional rear wheel steering! - quite off putting on a short wheelbase and at speed>80. I used to do hillclimbs and sprints with some PCT trials for fun. .....................
There was a chap I knew who could do Dorking to Redhill in 20mins in a Brough - no rounderbouts etc. .!!!
