Herewith some pictures from the Dealer event: SEAT COPA
Performance data from the new AutoBild Sportscars-issue:
Seat Leon Cupra 'Copa Edition'
-Weight: 1440 kg
is that the same weight as a standard mk2 cupra or have they managed to pile on even more weight on somehow?
According to those figures the 0-60 (0-100kmh) is 6.6s, which is slower than a standard Cupra!
They really have lost the plot with this car then? What were SEAT thinking...According to those figures the 0-60 (0-100kmh) is 6.6s, which is slower than a standard Cupra!

so what is the difference between an imperial second and a metric one then??????????????????
surely 0-60mph in uk is same as 0-62 kmh in europe give or take

Totally agree the currency changes and now we would love to have this car in the UK. For 20-21k that is a bargain indeed. The new TT-S uses 'our' engine and gets 272PS, and with this at 280 odd I suppose its variations on a theme again.
However I do have to ask why SEAT is making a car for a market like Switzerland when when the UK is one of its strongest markets and they are likely to generate more sales here. I didn't think the Swiss were big on polluting, higher CO2 vehicles.
At £20k its actually damn cheap. How the change in a currency sign can put a new perspective on something!!

From what information we have it comes withI still fail to see why you would think £2k over book is good value other than having warranty approved remap. Even if you factor in a favourable exchange for the car, you need to consider rip off Britain prices and the cost to put standard cupra bumpers on and remove the chav stripes.
It would only be worth it if they really were limited to say 50.
+ uprated brakes (brembo?)
