mk4 ibiza facelift bumper pieces

Hello,
Im eyeing up a facelift bumper at the moment and what i've noticed is the split pillars on the inside of the fog lights are not identical when buying the bumper without grills. one side(drivers right) looks as if the pillar is missing /broken.
I've come to the conclusion that this pillar is either a slotting in piece too allow
the large lower centre grill to be fitted in underneath then put on top to lock in the grill or the grill has this piece on one side fixed on. Can anyone shed light on this as im looking at getting this mod second hand.

It's the toe eye cover. The toe eye is behind that pillar - it's meant to be removable.

so make sure i get this piece with bumper,although its probably not hard to replace if lost.
Like your exhaust tips ibiza 130. Lidl are bringing out some polished stainless steel tips this thursday for 4.99, so gonna try and grab me some.

What exactly do i need to buy from the stealers to complete it?

Is that it? I know i'll need fogs but im going to wait until i find some cheap somewhere. Are the top grills (left and right) the same as pre-face lift?

The top grills are same as pre facelift yeh. FR's have honeycomb though. The rest are slats.

Yes I think that's all you need. You'll need somewhere to put the temperature sensor or you can just leave it hanging.

All the lower grills on mine are honeycomb. And I've got the FR upper honeycomb grills.

By the looks of the pic you'll need to pillar on the drivers side (the tow eye cover to the left of the main lower grill) aswell as the 3 lower grills, two fog lights and two upper grills if you decide to change them.

yeh tht should be all u need from stealers, im for changing my front bumper shortly, are u gonna tell the insurance or do u think it would be ok because its still a standard bumper, oh and can u tell me how much the stealers charge u for the grill parts etc.......cheers bud

I would assume you don't need it for the car to function properly but it might look a bit strange and unfinished if you don't have it. As for the part number either ring your dealer up and explain which part it is or see if someone with a facelift bumper can check for the part number for you, it should be stamped on the back of it somewhere i assume.

Or PM tristan in the Ted Johnson section, he should be able to help you out.

is it not on the FAQ page? Bit odd/crap if it isnt as i want to use it as a reference, is your bumper an FR facelift or just a standard facelift or is it a cupra bumper?

ive searched all over, i think there some confusion going on. Especially with these, ive seen them labelled as N and C

As far as im aware the FR facelift and standard facelift are the same, only the grills differ. Cupra bumper is very different, look out for the squarer fog light covers

All facelift bumpers are the same - only difference is the grills.

And he has a facelift bumper.

ah right i get you as in the grill are slatted not honeycomb i presume, id look for the part no.s but my cheap £5 elsawin program is not working so i cant!
