rickyC door cards are a cheap and quality upgrade and will really set of the comfortable black interior ive got going on and will sit nice against the jade green :D

Wheels look fooking huge.... at first i thought they where wheel trims lol lol

The mk2 looks the business Rash. Are you coming to JKM tomorow?

If you are going to go for an engine transplant..........definitely go for a VR6 lump. Yeah it is a bit heavier and yeah it is harder/more expensive to tune then a 1.8t...............but the sound of the V6 cannot be beaten by any 1.8t lump.

sorry for no updates in new house and have no internet acess till at work! but ALOT of work is being done and when i get internet soonish i will update the whole lot :) so less time on here and more time on the golf :D

UPDATE!!!

well i finaly have internet but it only works for like 20 mins a day so il have to be quick!

over the last week or so ive been working hard on the golf ive ripped all the old interior out and have been fitting my gti mk4 recaros in the front (NIGHTMARE OF A JOB!) they will look SPOT ON tho when they are in just cusom making brakets and cutting and wellding on seats to make them work!

ive also de rotted the front corners of the shell behind the wings as they were rotten

also front wings where not as wide as the plasic arch trims so ive rolled them right out so i can go extra low!

de rotted inside the car on the rear struts and along door sills inside (all black painted bits)
and fitted my BRAND NEW GENUINE door and boot rubbers £160 AAAAOOOCCCCHHH

ive then bought a peach of a mk2 golf for spares yesterday

vr6 2.9 v6 engine (rebuilt)
kent cams
larger inlet
corrado subframe (rare/exspensive as hell)
G60 bigger front calipers
braided hoses
lower arms with all round uprated bushes
engine loom
car loom
dash loom
hydraulic pedal box
gear lincage

lots of reciepts of work done on engine

also has loads of spares that i will make money back on like g60 arches door mouldings windows ect ect! this lot is well worth over £1500 got it all for £400!

so me and mate Ben got to work the same night on taking my 16v engine and everything with it that need uprating out!

everything is now off my mk2

exhaust
pedal box
sterring collum
COMPLETE front supension/brakes ect
driveshafts
engine
gearbox/clutch
engine wiring looms
car looms
brake servo
water bottles
gear linkages
cables ect ect

a mate of mine has just brought himself a mk3 golf vr6....very nice cars!! sounds lovely aswell

think it would be a good idea to get it all running on its own first make sure everything is working no smoking knocking crunching ect then when im happy the engine will cope i will buy the kit and have it all professionally done and mapped
