quick question for you all. because your all so helpful and loving helping ppl. lol.

i cleaned my dv yesterday when i done my bypass. took it completely apart and cleaned using wd40. do i have to grease the piston part in it or does it stay dry. i have no idea as there was some black oil in it which i thought might have come from some where else. would this make it give out a strange noise?

You need to use high temp grease on all moving parts, basically around where the o-rings are trying to make the seal.

You'll find the boost acting up if theres no grease or the wrong grease as the piston tends to stick.

it tends to sound more like a rubbing noise than a nice smooth sound. Cheers phil. Will have a look at what i got in the shed.

Jivey, whats that? It looks like a large cylinder bearing from a skate board wheel.

VT wishbone bush to replace my **** powerflex bushes. Going on sunday along with the wheel studs and a few other things ;)

You still wanting those stainless bolts?

devine: what grease did you use, ideally it should be castrol red rubber grease.

I had problems using LM grease, so then tracked down red rubber grease. I got a 500ml tub if you want some.

If your gunno buy another, get a chinese copy from the 'bay. I've had one for 6 months and its identical to the forge 007p i sold, albeit 30 quid cheaper!

Just ordered me a black apexi avcr ebc :D :D :D
