i looked in halfrauds, and was shocked at the price. I can get a pair for half the cost of what halfrauds sell one bulb!!!

Bought some from there about November 2006, and was extremely disapointed

I bought the Halfords 'super brilliance blue' H4 bulbs, which although have blue glass, don't look remotely blue or white when looking directly at them but they produce a more white beam on the road than standard. Not bad for BOGOF but i was a bit disappointed...

try and sell em on if not successful! Could even make a profit!

One o local cruise sites is havin a "group buy" the owner says they're £80 each, but if 10 people join he can get em at £70!

I mentioned Diane Shop is about £46. He deleted my post. So I asked him why. At the end of the day I'm trying to help him and the members save money! Needless to say he didn't reply! No doubt because he was trying to make a profit from people!

Update on finding the perfect Full Beam bulb to match HIDs and LED sidelights:

As you may remember, about a month or so ago, I was thinking of possibly goin for HIDs on full beam. However, due to minor issues, such as not being able to flash with HIDs, I thought I'd try and find the perfect "normal" bulb to match.

Anyway, last month I tried some SportzBlue bulbs from Ring! Here's the pics

Not quite a perfect match, but it got rid of the nasty white & yellow combo you would see on the trees when driving along!

Anyway, I thought I'd try some more

This time, ArcticWhite, again from Ring.

As you can see, the SportzBlue are bluer (is that a word) than the arctic, but I still thought it was worth a go

Again pics

Here again are the SportzBlue

And the ArcticWhite (latest in trial :D)

The SportzBlue, still seem to be slightly better than ArcticWhite! The ArcticWhite ones look almost standard!

So, to conclude. Still not got the perfect match! Still on a quest to find it without goin HID (I wouldn't mind doin HID, but for convienence, I'd like to have "normal" bulbs)

I am indeed :D

Could finish the quest easily by just getting HIDs, but as mentioned earlier in the thread, you can't flash! Well you could, but no-one would see it!

I may try one or two more sets (will speak to my personal supplier ;)), and see what happens. If I still don't find the "perfect match" then it'll be HIDs!
