well, 1 of them is off the valver, and 1 is off Em's 1.4 Mk2

they're identical though!

but dont forget, this is probably one of the best designed airboxes out there so its unlikely stu's will be this good but the trends are similar hopefully. Also ram air increases are likely to be not so great below 120/130mph even with a well designed system.

Very interesting reading, the final drive it'll end up with will limit the top speed.

Nothing of great deal of interest but progress is progress.

December I had the wheels refurbed, after much debate I decided not to go with white as I wouldent be bothered about cleaning them that often, changed the centre caps to silver ones and got some repro Compomotive decals in white

Where I removed the webbing and sanded the bonding down to reveal bare metal, got the rattle cans out and tarted it up somewhat.

After 1200 miles the catch tank half full allready - yucky stuff

Its ok, doesnt knock or rattle, grill is still taped up and its not mapped yet

It catches oil vapours from the engine breather

lol, just you wait til is mapped, it spun the wheels up after 4000rpm in 1st & 2nd

I get all sorts of smells inside the cabin, tho yeah i do get a whiff of oil vapour inside the cabin as its not recirculated into the airbox

Chears mate,you poor buger!well im puting it back to standard because i got 3kids to keep alive!unless i put it down the bottom of the engin bay?dose it do anything for the performace?

Not really a performance mod but better than it going back into the engine.
