You might find it easier and cheaper to get Allard to post you a VT2 (roughly £800 on exchange) and just fit it and ask Jabba to alter the mapping. They mapped my car with a VT2 fitted with good results. :)

I would say a real 220, and not really any more. Reliability should be OK at that power, but reliability comes with knowing how to drive a TDI, not just whats fitted (letting warm up, allowing turbo spool down at end of journies, not hoofing it at low revs, etc etc)

Fitting the turbo might be around 3 hours work? No more I doubt. Its designed to match up to the oem downpipe fitting, unlike the VT5 which needs a custom one made. And I believe it utilises the stock oil lines, and boost outlet clips too. :) Essentially it's just a beefed up VNT17 anyway. :D

I didnt think Jabba would touch another companys turbo? Interesting...

Isnt the VT5 once fitted on stock injectors good for 250bhp?

I know Jabba mapped Jason`s VT2 and also tried but failed to map the VT5. VT5 will get 240-250 bhp again depending on map and dyno etc. Basically the VT5 can flow more then enough air for the stock injectors so it`s the injectors that are maxed out and cannot flow enough diesel not the turbo limiting the bhp with lack of air.

Will the car drive with a VT2 on a VNT17 Remap? As in if I were to fit it here could I get across to Chesterfield (assuming JBS would remap someone else's turbo)?

You might want to ask jbs how many hybrid turbo diesel PD130/150/160 cars they have mapped . If i was you AwesomeGTI sale and map Allard parts and turbos, they will know what they are doing when it comes to diesel cars.
