right, wasnt boosting to what it should so i reset the ecu and throttle body and it starting missing. found it to be the maf after testing all the coils to find they were all fine. so i replaced the maf (genuine bosch one) and it played ball for a while but now i'm bakc down to 5psi peak. so i tried re-setting the ecu again and it boosted up to around 8-9 peak as it should and now its back down to 5psi peak [:@] am i right in thinking the n75 is probably the other the other culprit to my lack of boost? all vac pipes are new and checked they are connected properly, the forge TIP is fitted as it should be and secured properly. plugs are new and have been checked and they are fine.

any input guys? i dont have vag-com and run a mac so getting vag com to work would be a pain in the ass! anyone near sheffield with vag com i would welcome your asisstance should it be possible for you to lend a hand :D

yeah its std(want it right before mapping next month), took the battery off for over 10 minutes, then left the throttle body to do its thing before turning it over

right, changed the n75 and re-set the ecu again in case there were any faults in the system, and its still only boosting to 5psi, mega annoyed at it now because whilst the ecu is settling it will boost properly for a very short while and thats it so thats a brand new maf and n75 now. pleeeeease help me :(

checked the pipes for leaks and none are evident. getting stuck for ideas now. how stiff is it meant to be to move the actuator? seemed a bit 'squeeky' when moving it so i've put some wd40 on it and it seems to be moving ok. I'm open to suggestions as it seems nobody near sheffield has VAG-com available :(

I may be able to help you by checking your fault memory for you. Haven't got vagcom but have got access to vag diagnostic machines. If your free one in the day on a weekday or maybe this sat at somepoint. PM me if your interested. Also have a spare N75 you could try.
