right, another update, i put the n249 back to standard and no difference was to be had, took the actuator rod off the wastegate to check that (noting original position)and the wastegate is free as a bird and the actuator seems to be ok too. I adjusted it by 1/4 turn inwards so its showing about 13ish threads and i provisionally get 6psi peak in all gears then it goes back to 5 psi once driving for a while. I've been poking round the bay looking for split pipes and cant find anything, the only thing i can see is the forge TIP is right up against the water pipe adjacent to it, maybe its pushing it in a little bit, would this possibly cause low boost? if so i'll trim it a bit more for a better fit. any other things it could be would be nice please

does it boost when its a bit colder cause the ibiza has a really small intercooler renound for going in to limp mode 0.5 bar when in this state sheck intercooler condition or take out and give it a clean through.

another update, put the std DV back on and i gained a PSI again! so now i'm getting 61/2 / 7 psi now.(ordering a forge service kit for the other one)

Is it worth me turning the actuator nut another 1/4 of a turn as i did last time or am i asking for trouble and management lights? (no idea if the acutator had been touched before i had the car) its currently on about 13 threads

i was getting low boost readings, then i noticed 2 out the 3 bolts holding the turbo on to the manifold were loose, just a thought

all sorted now, DV needs a service, actuator had moved slightly and maf was casuing the original maf problem, after a fault reading machine showed no faults within the system (cheers Steve) so looks like happy motoring time for me again
