It should have a +ve affect on the motor, its primary function is to house the 90mm trumpets and scoop flowing air from the grill

Now fitted to the car
Had to trim a bit of the bonnet webbing to for clearence, very amusing task hacking lumps out of it (yes I am painting it)
No knocking or rattling, sounds different than before but thats to be expected. Very pleased how its turned out.

Aye, if it rains I'll blank off the grill with either tank tape or an ally plate, got a wideband kit almost sorted out too.
Yeah it will be good when its running as it should, its been almost a year since the flywheel incident at Brands Hatch. Time certainly flys!
Is there room for a baffle plate in front of the filter with a line of holes along its base to get rid of some water?
