Typical..........on my way home last night I managed to meet a badger with no road sense who wandered into my path...........I hit him square on at 70 mph and you would not believe the thump it made! Inspected the damage to the FR and I have broken my front lower plastic mesh. Sadly, the badger did not fare so well.........

Luckily there is no other obvious damge and the underside of the car seems ok.

Does anyone know how much I am looking at roughly for a replacement lower grill section.....the bit below the number plate?

I don't think it is a seperate part but it would be around £250 - there are company's that weld plastic bumpers, would check them out first?!?
PS it is only one piece incl mesh - the other way would be to take out the mesh in total and look for the part number and try and order one. Good luck

fife, scotland
badger baiting is illegal in this country and the law will take a dim view of this indeed, masturbating on the other hand is still legal. and much safer and less expensive.

If you hit it as you say at 70mph then I would check behind the bumper and get it inspected to make sure. From experience I am sure it would do much more damage than a broken bit of plastic.
