95% of my driving is a 4 mile stop/start commute to/from work with the weekly shopping trip thrown in

I only seem to be averaging low 32-34mpg

Is the right

PS - The loud pedal only gets pressed hard when I get the rare chance :p

you should have bought a 1.2 petrol  and saved on the perchace price

4 miles start/stop is no place for a 130tdi

I have driven the 1.2 and is really punchy in the first few gears, really good round town sounds great also lol

My mum was given a 1.2 Ibiza as a courtesy car once - my GOD was it thirsty! Got through some serious fuel!

The 1.4 Ibiza tdi we had after that as a courtesy car.....that was a different story all together! Well pokey! Was great fun! :D

Lol I only had it for one night as courtesy car aswell, but was very nippy when you needed it to be, mine felt slow when I got it back. Not sure about the fuel they gave me full tank ben back with half, we was out in it all night giving it thrashing lol only had 700 miles on it :p

Less than 6k from a Seat stealer, 53 plate 44k on clock

I stole from the stealer as he sold it as a Sport TDi 100 not the 130::doh:

confirmed with 2 other stealers that I got the best end of the deal :p

Going on what you state above (highlighted in bold) - your TDi 130 sport is overkill !!!

Sell the car and buy a decent push bike instead, you'll get to your destination quicker (if the traffic is stop/start as you say), and help save the planet too!

...you'll also have a nice wedge of cash to spend on something that you WILL use more frequently, and will no longer need to ponder over 32-34mpg, and you will go from feeling  to :funk:

Have a nice day! ;)
