The drilling is just to locate and secure the ballasts, the rest of it is purely plug and play.

ie remove the bulb, connect the wiring from the bulb to the ballast, then the other cable from the ballast to the new HID, and then fit that in the headlight, and done.

Or something along those lines.

If Jim will help you, then all the better, as its nice to have someone to stand over and watch, and help out.
It'll also give you practice in removing the bumper, which is literally a few minute job.

It can be done in 20 mins i reckon, but if you wanna do it properly and mount the ballasts nicely then its about an hour to take the bumper and headlights out so you can drill holes on the chasis leg under the lights.

i did not remove my front bumper to do that. i just put the front of the car on axle stands, crawled under neath the car with a power drill and started working away. i hid my second set of HID Ballasts on the chassis legs, my first set of ballasts i put one behind the battery and one underneath the lip of the bonnet (just above the rad fans) where it is hidden away.

im tempted to get another set of HID's but think 2 sets is enough for me at the moment.
