ha ha wil see how the fitting goes i cant wait now it will help me with my 1/4 mile times to as the weight transfer will stay more level or atleast i hope.....

It should help the weight transfer if the springs are stiffer...will give more traction at the front when accelerating and more balanced braking as the car won't get bogged down at the front when you slam them on :D

my mate done mine we used a old socket end and took a grinder to it . this made it fit between the clamp that hold the shock in then turned it to spread the clamp using a socket set if you get what i mean .i used the top mount off my old shocks . lowered it nicely never got the tracking done . might explain why my tyres wear so bad in the inside lol . not a good time of year tax, service, brakes and 4 tyres needed GULP! and one headlight bulb.lol oh yeah we took the drive out as well made it easier to work at hope that helps.

well had a good attempt today i have managed to do the paassanger side.... was a right chew on! there is a splined allen key head needed on the back of the hub/strut that in muddyboots guide he used mole grips and this was not working at all so i had to grind two flats on the round bolt and use a spanner to hold it to stop it from spinning, as for the hub seperation tool..... hmmm well i just sprayed some wd40 in there and used a screw driver that i banged in to seperate and worked a treat. will do the other side tomorrow and should not be as bad now i know what i am doing (sort of) will keep posted.

well the passanger side was a bit of a chew as i didnt have the correct socket to fit on the other side if the bolt which goes through the hub clamp but the drivers side was a pice of cake now i ave the tool and is no harder than doing the passanger side! the hardesr part is getting the old strut out the sleve in the hub..... all sorted and am well happy with my fk's will e lowering it slightly more once the springs have bedded in properly. i would advise these coilovers to anyone think there ace!

wil take some better pics once car is clean and washed but i would say its just common sense to fit them yourself, and just hope the big hub bolt aint to tight lol..... i love the coilovers and have no regrets!
