Hazzards work, Indicators dead?

I wonder if anyone else has had this issue with their Ibiza Mk3 (Y reg). The Hazzards work but the Indicators are dead both left and right. If I turn the hazzard switch on then off releasing the switch to out (hazzard Off) position slowly but not all the way, I can get the Indicators to function left and right. Audi/Vw also seem to have the same issue. Has anyone changed the in dash Hazzard switch. It does not seem to come out via the front of the dash. Please can anyone advise on 'how to' change the in dash Hazzard switch. Thanks!

Hi mate, it sounds like your indicatoor stalk is on its way out. I had the same problem with my Y reg bezza a few months back. Changed the hazzard switch which solved nothing which left the problem down to the stalk which solved it

Thanks for the reply. I was lucky. replaced the Hazzard switch and Indicators are now OK. I am glad it was not the colum stalk though! Many thanks again.
