Thats the deal I had with the seller as we couldnt arrange prior viewing, I'm going to view it properly tomorrow and if its all coool, collect it in the week.
Went to see it this morning and its good - a strong engine with no knocking of sound of cam wear.
The remap is unbelieveable - it just seems to want to spin all the time. Standard engine produced 160bhp, tuned at 193bhp.
It just needs one stone chip touching up as theres surface rust, a stone chip is windscreen sorting, jacking point cover.
Seller said he will get it valet'd for me. First job is to get the belt done

What a bargain mate, been looking around for these myself, and as mentioned, on autotrader and piston heads, same car for ~8k!! So jealous!!
Just booked the cambelt service in with LC Charcles in Crewe - £250 for belt and water pump. Got it booked for Wednesday morning, will drop off aat 8:30pm and hopefully have it back within afew hours.

Good looking car you got there. 80k for a derv is nothing, nothing for a modern day petrol engine either if looked after.

If there is a lesson to learn it is not to take your car to seat in Wolverhampton , £700 for cam belt change ..actual cost £250 inc water pump £450 is quite a difference, that's if the seller actually got a quote.
Picked up the car and well chuffed with it.
The gearstick is stiff and doesnt return to neutral itself which makes changing gear hard sometimes, especially from 2nd to 3rd
