i've been looking in to what cams to get and im a bit lost.
im after something that will give me good power but with out moving it up the rev range to much( if that even posible) with a good idle.
i was looking at newman cams (as they seem a good price)and there road cam is 264/264 i always had the idea that both cams were different should this be the case?? Is a blank cam newly machined i,e not remanufactured. i see stu has got 275 cams in his motor is that big power high rev's?
if i went for the 264 cams with other work is it posible to get some where near 170/180hp or shold i look for something a bit lumpyer.
1 last thing i read on here may of been robT said its best to leave the exhaust cam as it is. any reason do you know
