where do you keep your ipod?

just wondering where people keep their ipod in their LCR.

when plugged in mine sits infront of my gearstick but it slides around a bit.

so was wondering if there are any cradles for that area available or a quick fix type thing?

well i put mine in the gap under the ash tray and put some anti slip mat cut out to size in there also thus stopping the sliding

yea thats where i meant as the wire for it comes through there.

i was thinking of anti slip mat as a cheap fix. just wondering if there are any cradles available that fit down there.

dont think so only thing i've seen is the cradles that you either screw into car dash or clip onto air vents

How about a small sticky back velcro pad - put the 'furry' side on the back of your ipod and the 'hooks' side in the stupidly large and pointless tray in front of the gearstick?

if you look in the free stuff/ swaps on here there is someone after swapping one that he made just to swap with a standard ash tray bit, not sure about when it was posted mind!!

i leave mine upside down on the small tray underneath the glove box...it connects to my alpine ipod ready stereo, so i only need to get to it when updating the song list etc. and as it's got a black rubber case/cover, it blends in so no-one can see it

Mine is under my seat.

My stereo controls/charges it so I just ran the wires out the back, behind the centre console and they pop out from under the plastic roughly below where the fuel button is.... completely out of sight and easy to remove if I want to update it/take it somewhere.
