Anyone else had this? Only noticed it today after picking the car up from the dealer on Saturday. Are there ready made holes for the plate or does the dealer drill them into the rear bumper?

Most stick them on, could be wrong but I think most garages, dealers would do this now.. saves splitting and water marks and makes a 20 minute job take 30 seconds.

So chances of there having being pre drilled holes are unlikely, just someone not taking the time to make sure it's straight.

Ok, it is just that it seems to have 2 screws holding it in place. Unless these are screwed to an adhesive pad. Might take it back to them and get them to do it properly! Apart from that (and the cruise control light not coming on) the car is great!

yup they will hav drilled the bumper. I took mine off and fitted a shorter plate and had to order some black and white plugs from the RS components catalogue to go in the (small) holes!!

Mine are stuck on now, far better seeing how I have pressed plates!!
