Realy thinking about it now mate.

The dump valve will have to be put off for a bit, just got a new head unit and center armrest off the other half so I dont want to push my luck to much .

I'll have a check of my shifts in the morning and give them a email and see what dates are available :D

Dam you for twisting my arm ;)

its a diverter valve you need and if the rr was right on my second one mine has gone nearly instantly so might be worth doing it at the same time

007 forge recirculating valve is defo needed on a stage 2 remap! but you may get away with stage 1 for a SHORT space of timeBUT WHY RISK IT dont want to be running around with even less power do you ;)

imo id get custom code and a forge recirculating valve defo buy the green pannel filter if you havent already too! whilst your in the airbox smooth it and ripp the trumpet out too ;)

ooohhh the list grow and grows from there buddy!

jamie parton are you running your estimate 260 270 bhp on just a remap, exhaust, baileys dumpvalve on a 210??? ive seen 3-4 diffrent lcrs with revo ect stage two's not even pushing that on the roller!!

yes all remaps qoute those figures for a cupra r stage 1, star performance 250 - 260 bhp , custom code 270 - 275 bhp +260-270lbs ft. revo stage 1 265bhp 280lbs ft. performance torque quote 260 - 272 bhp. all stage 1. you'll be lucky to see between 5 and 8 bhp for full turbo back and the same for fmic. with stage 2 only taking you up to 285 bhp or so, and i aint got the money for that little lot. ps don't call me parton, folk will think my mums called dolly.

I'll 2nd that, all the stage 2 cars had worse figures than the stage 1 remaps.

Few disappointed faces considering they spent the money on exhaust, FMIC and stage 2 map.

I'm after more torque for stage 2 than bhp..... Looking at the figures currently again what I've compared to i.e. Gaz Jones old MK4 then bhp gain is only about 18bhp, but torque could possibly be + 40ish.

Also from reading posts FMIC don't make BHP, they just make it sustain through the rev range, better curve on the graph. I think

Yeah, allows power and revs to be attained more freely, think its 10 bhp tops but with the custom map and exhaust its better.

so many cheap remaps around at the moment!!

plus im in a dilemma now aswell. i maybe getting paid a week earlier than i thought coz of christmas and coz i only got paid 3 weeks ago, i still have lots of money so can get my car a christmas present!! :funk:

only problem is, im a bit stuck on what to get. could either get myself a nice set of coilovers, or i cud get my Forge TIP and then go about getting a remap for about the same price as the coilovers

was looking at a Revo remap, but after hearing how cheap P-Torque remaps are im getting more and more confused.com!! i take it P-Torque are a decent company as i've not heard much about them before.

Also, if i do decide on a remap, what would be best for me to get - stage 1 or stage 2? as when i get the remap, my car will have a TIP, Forge DV, and green panel filter

so stage 1 wud be best for me then??

im guessing id get similar bhp figures to you then once done?? what sort of 0-60, etc you got??

and are they really doing remaps for £225 quid at the moment??????????

Around that price yes, got mine on a group buy ages ago for £275, but Will is going a Christmas special at the mo..... 0-60 I've not timed it + crap tyres at the mo (just got some T1rs £56 each!!!)

BHP wise it a bit of a dyno lotto though

But got a 4bar fpr in there too..., but not got it mapped for the forge TIP - if that will do anything?

yeah i no dynos can be a bit generous at times, but also very cruel!!

have p-torque got a website at all?? might give them a call and find out exactly whats going on and see what they can do for me

whats the car like to drive with the remap? is it smooth?

Shouldn't do, 1.8T's torque won't kill it like the diesel ones do low down, but launching it will.

I'd get spacers and coilovers done mate, free fitting/tracking at Big Boys Toys on coilovers over £600 :)

KW or Eibach are that much.
