I'm after more torque for stage 2 than bhp..... Looking at the figures currently again what I've compared to i.e. Gaz Jones old MK4 then bhp gain is only about 18bhp, but torque could possibly be + 40ish.

Also from reading posts FMIC don't make BHP, they just make it sustain through the rev range, better curve on the graph. I think

i was at the rolling road when gaz jones got those figures, i think he turned the settings up on the map to maximun 9boost and 9timing and used octane booster. i ran on std setting which was 5boost and 6timing i think thats why my figures came out a bit lower than expected

just saying all the lcr's ive seen on the rollers (petrol) have ALL been bitterly dissapointed with there remap RESULTS not the remap itself as it drives and feels quicker

sorry i was quick typing paton

i see what your saying rash but my car although ONLY being a 210 was putting out 225 on star performances rolling road, and before all the calls for dyno lottery come up, it was not reading over as the next guy on had a LCR with apr remap and it put out 250 bhp, jim reckoned anywhere between 250 - 265 is about right for the car. thats why i dont put estimated power in my signature. if a 150 bhp ibiza can see gains of around 50bhp claimed and the 180bhp leon/ ibiza can see 40 bhp increases then surely 35 little horses aint too much to ask for. no probs with the spelling by the way:bleh:

dont think im picking things out on you paton matey was just curious how a 210 bhp lcr could put out more than the stage 2 revo's :) any way back on topic

cupra jay imo id get the coilovers spacers done first then get the forge tip exhaust ect ect then take a plunge for a stage 2 remap

thats my other option

but, im thinking that if i get the coilovers now, that when it does come time for me to get a remap, its gonna be more expensive than what it is now

i take it there isnt any chance of getting a stage 2 now and then getting an exhaust later on? or is that gonna cause me problems?

i dont think it will cause you any problems imo! the exhaust just helps mate youve got the forge 007p r.v get the stage two mate the

cusom code or p-torque question is pants as every1 will back the remap they have its pointless asking that! go with the map that appeals most and is most easier for you.

im very happy with my c-c but ive got stage 3 so i cant comment

I was gonna get a Custom Code but now thinking about P-Torque + maybe 007P recirc valve as its cheaper, even tho I have to travel 200 miles each way! Will see if I can get a day off before the deal runs out :)

Yea I know rash, but P-Torque is £90 cheaper, I can send off my ECU to get done and still afford a Forge 007P recirc valve :) Plus just found out I need new brake pads soon :(
