It really does depends on how much lead you have in that right foot!

never had mine that good. on my usual journey mine would average 35-36. i then done a redex system clean (which i believe would be the first) and the same journey now averages 39mpg

Did you get that sitting at about 60 in 5th? I got 40.2mpg once sitting behind a lorry on a country lane averaging 58mph.

Never got anywhere near that again lol.

Would probably stretch a few more mpg if you reduced the weight of all that dust:-o

Doing 50-65mph i often get 42mpg ish in my mk1 2.0 16v tolly. Just take it easy & change up quickly. p.s i also use redex cleaner or v power.

Dont think its that sad really as most of us will now be watching how often we nail it because of the price of juice. :cry:

I think your right, haven't cleaned that interior for a while!

Got that whilst doing 30mph in 5th gear for about 10 mins just after i put £20 worth of Vpower in at 107.9p!
