Excuse moi if i am being an airhead but i'll soon be a smart brunette,anyway why do the decals say cupra "2" in relation to the mk 2 or was their an earlier version on the mk2 or am just talking utter crap cos it's past bedtime???

answers on a postcard please.....

i think you'll have 12-13 bhp gain with chip tuning.
if u complete this with iskender's special exhaust system, you'll feel the difference on your cupra2.

The engine in his Ibiza is different to your Leon.... being you got 1.8 20v Turbo and his is a 2.0 16v engine.

From a chip you won't really see much on an n/a engine. Best getting a tidy air filter or drill your air box, 4-2-1 or 4-1 manifold being lhd you can get the supersprint one and then an exhaust system. I find a decat works well because the engine is more free to rev and you can make more of the high peak power of the 16v.

Cupra 2 is the full version which produced for europe they r all abf 2.0 16v.
it calls cupra 2 because there was an other model at 96 97 which called cupra too cupra 2 has got more equipment.

what do u think about Shirck cams?

I find them good but I haven't tried any other make so can't really compare them.... they expensive I know that! People do recommend Cat Cams and Newman Cams, Newman's are just copies of the Schrick but they have now designed their own I think.

didn't get em as they Cupra's not Gti's

was released over here too and have seen a dead ringer for that one local - minter

the trim/seats and belts alone are worth looking at em for - nice motor
