Strange Noise when Turbo kicks in

Hi all,

i have a weird noise coming from my turbo, its like a noise of a belt that is slack, but i have had it checked by a mate of mine, and as far as he can see everything is ok, he thought it might be a split or loose pipe but all these seem to be ok aswell.

i haven noticed any loss of performance, but this noise has been happening for about a week.

i have a warranty from the garage i bought it from but im not sure that this will be covered

if anyone has any idea what this could be, please let me know

Update:

The car is now making a very loud noise and my mate thinks its coming from the manifold, as this has become loose before and i think its went again, he says that the gasket may need replacing and says that this might be covered under warrenty, does anyone have any experience of this fault and it this a warrenty claim?

my mate can do it for free, but said it may be a bit tricky as theres not much room to work....

Why not just take it to the garage that solid it to you and use your warrenty??

cos im skint and if they're going to charge me for a non warranty claim, id rather my mate do it for free, its all about the money!

i think that they will just say the the gasket is not covered under the warranty
