some good driving in that youtube video , very interesting about the atmos valve , i would be in for doing this if it wasnt to hard

It isn't too hard, but it is louder then a normal DV with open air filter.

When you have the radio on and windows closed you will not here the BOV in the car.

acid is right, ive got the KO4001 on mine.
I thought mine was supposed to be 240bhp though. and ive got same mods really as you,
Plus race cat and full exhaust.. Really need to get her Dino'd!!

how do you get round loseing MAF?

It has been programmed out of the ECU by jd engineering (chiptuner), so no fault codes or engine warnings, only the TCS is disabled.

Now I have static mesurements in the ecu. (like when you are driving with the MAF sensor unpluged, it still drives fine).

Mine played up on the rollers, did my 1st run ok but, the 2nd & 3rd produced 145bhp

Its good when it works but plays up too much and costs silly money for the amount of times it goes wrong

Im gonna view this tonight. Was it an expensive job to get rid of the MAF sensor?

No not that expensive, it is just a custom mapping, about 800 euro's. But I had already a mapping from JD engineering, so it was only 300 euro to customise it again to the new turbo/fmic/injectors etc, including the dyno run.

Revo, do not remove the MAF sensor, even if you want them to, so check if the chiptuner can do it (jd engineering is jabba sport in the UK, if i'm correct..)

My intercooler is some to big, you need to cut some pease of the crash bar, so use a littel less high intercooler:

Mine is already cut, but the cooler won't do the job anymore, it's too thin. What about its thickness? Ok, I've got it, thx.

The S3 brakes are formel (brembo) drilled disks, 312mm.

re-Drilled to 4x100, the rest will fit straight away...

Are you telling me that it's just a matter of drilling 4 new holes so it fits 4x100 and that's it? All the wires, calipper and the other parts will fit? I mean s3 parts.
