No the k04-001 is a bolt on replacement for the k03(s).. so it will fit right away.

Not like the k04-023 (from the 225hp versions), then you need to change the downpipe/intake pipe etc... (and you will only win 10hp above the k04-001 with the k04-023)

I have used a:

- 4 bar FPR
- 380cc injectors (audi TT 225 BAM)
- audi RS2 bosch coil covers (94-96 model)

Intresting, I didnt realise you could get a ko4 to bolt on.

Where did you get your turbo from? How different does it feel from the ko3?

Your giving me ideas;)

Here some more engine bay pictures:

As you can see, we did some modification and removed the silencer from the IC pipes:

we also replaced the position of the dumpvalve (forge FMDV001gti)

Reminder:
I can drive with a fully open BOV because I don't have a MAF sensor anymore, (still have the map sensor!), This sensor is programmed out of the ECU, so there is NO traction controle to stop me anymore :D

why did you get rid of the MAF Sensor? Fully Atmos valve must be loud then:D

I got rid of it because I wanted a fully atmos valve, that was not possible with the MAF still on it. (I hope that's correct, in holland we don't use the therm MAF, we use LMM instead).

Besides that, the MAF sensor can't handle open air filters very well (it gets wors), so you have to buy a new one every year.

And, yes, it is loud!
