Air vent removal - LC 53

Can't find it using the search (although I did find about a million other threads) so...

Can someone please tell me how to get the dashboard air vents out of my 53 plate LC??

(I mean the angle adjustable ones, not the tiny round ones in the top of the dashboard)

Anyone??

to get mine out, i just put two dinner knives in behind, and wedged it out, but other people say using the ends of two coat hangers and pulling with reasonable force will budge them. hope this helps buddy

Cheers mate... did you put the knives in at the sides, or top and bottom? Not having the benefit of a spare one I don't know where the locating springs are...

i put it at the sides and wedged it out mate, only way possible really

so what's the difference between LC vents and (as in your sig) LCR vents?

well the all the leon vents are the same apart from the lcr one, the lcr ones comes with the tabs red, making them stand out more
search on google, maybe you might see interior pics from a lcr
