skirts on black cupra......
Justa query really guys. Im ij the process of buying a black cupra r.....and i have noticed that the skirts are a dull black like they have been resprayed but with not enough laquer applied. Is this just how they come or has these been sprayed?

Sounds like they've been replaced / mended for some reason, and they've ordered the mat finish ones, when they should have ordered the primed ones and sprayed.

Heres a few pics of mine, owned it about 5mnths now i think, loved every minute of it. Most mods are listed in my sig. Got some temporary wheels fitted at the moment that me and a friend sprayed up, little deep dish 16s. Did have 17's when i bought it which i didnt like. Coilovers are next on the list

Hi folks,
I've had mine a couple of weeks now, I'ts just coming up for 27,000 miles!
First week i lowered it on H&R suspension, and this weekend i put miltek exhaust, green cotten filter, and jabba ecu on it, also new wheels and rear spacers.
Taking it to Castle Coombe this weekend for an Autometrix track day, to learn how it handles.

What tyres do you have on the mono's mate? look like 195/45/16's?

The monos are wearing 195/40/16 toyo proxes, not a bad tyre, front nearside didn't last long, Less than 4,000 miles, but that did include a day at Castle Combe.

She's totally standard apart from debadge, de-wiper and stubby aerial
Oh and has aero wipers
Plans are to deck it on coilies, and space out back wheels 20mm each side

It'll be interesting to see what it looks like with colour coded bump strips and smooth bumpers, something that i've always wanted to do to mine but never got round to it
