Sorry - 6000k

Question though !!

As the "spade end" wires (that connect to the cars existing wiring), are on the side of the grommit as the bulb, do you leave these behind the bulb within the light cover ?

If so, does the cover go back on without any fouling ?

Cheers

Yep them wires are left inside the lense cover. You can take out the slack once the cover is on and gently pull the wires back through the grommet.

i ordered a set of these from diane-shop on the 1st (and completed payment through paypal) and it took until today for them to send an email saying they had been posted!!

Am I wrong in thinking 8 days from paying to posting is more than a little slow?

How long did everyone else have to wait?

About 6 days, although you can't really count weekends. The postal service is still recovering from the strikes and they are coming from China so give em up to 14 days then enquire with the seller.

no, I'm referring to the time between me paying and them posting (8 days).....not the time between me paying and me receiving!

Yeah sorry, they took a few days to post mine out as well. However they have all kinds of wacky holidays this time of year so no doubt they were behind or have forgot to post em out till now. Send them an email :)

Has anyone had problems with having to feed all the cableling through the clip that holds the bulb in or is it just me!?Ive done it but it was a problem I was not expecting and trying to keep the bulp safe from touching anything was a bit of a nightmare.

Mine are the 6k from diane shop and from when they emailed me to say there on there way it took 4 working days! Not bad from the other side of the world!:)

Take the clip out of one side, tuck the wires under then position the clip back in its hole ;) Easier than trying to squeeze everything through the clip :)

I did it the hard way! Nevermind at least I know for the next time. Plus im not very patient so i prob would have broken the clip:headhurt:

Very pleased with them though, gonna change the sidelights at some point. For the price of them they're excellent

Wow, i know every one keeps saying it, but them HID's are amazing, the best £46 i've spent... and i've only fitted the drivers side one so far (easiest), i'm well chuffed!
Roll on tomorrow night, and i can get the 2nd one done!

Just did my alignment today and was a bit wary of the nearside beam pattern! The drivers side pattern was perfect but the nearside is all over the place for some reason.

Anyway Ive adjusted it so the pattern is almost ok but i know its not.

My car is the 2005 LCR and the HIDS are from diane shop off ebay. If any of you guys have the same it might be worth checking at your nearest MOT station.

Ive posted a thread before about the pass criteria at test so if you want the link let me know. (Some MOT testers dont know the criteria themselves![:@])

Im half tempted to send the bulb back and ask for a replacement.
