Indeed, see you there POLKR!

I think the morning session might be quiet so maybe they're trying to even out the sessions or something as I know two of the girls from Livingstones are going in the morning.

Yes, the weather could be a tad chilly tomorrow. We'll all be too excited to notice!!

For those going to Knockhill in the morning who would normally go over Kincardine Bridge to get there, anybody know how much the roadworks hold you up there at that time of the day? I have no idea!

ill be there in the afternoon

anyone taking a passenger? one of my mates wants to come up and watch me do it

Re passenger. Bin trying to dig out the original confirmation I received re my track day at Wroughton on 14 Nov:D. I think it said that spectators were not allowed on health & safety grounds but, if someone wished to "drive" it would cost £200.

I,ll keep looking but it may be worth checking the other links out there re the "regulations".

Found it,

A quote from a response to the same question asked in a similar thread which was queried with SEAT by ZBOYD.

Some more answers from SEAT.

Question: Does anyone know if you can bring a guest to take pictures etc...?

Answer: Unfortunately non-driving guests are not permitted due to health and safety reasons. You are able to book a place for driving guests at a cost of £200 per person.

SEAT have had a few queries regarding insurance:

So just to clarify:

Guests are not required to use their own cars; they will stay safely in the car park!

Guests will drive cars provided by SEAT and they will endeavor to allocate them the same model car that they have purchased.

Hope this helps

Just following up on the above. If you go to the "Mira Seat Track Day Experience 31st Oct - Who's joing me" thread on page 2 of the Leon Mk11 forum you will find a lot of useful info there. This is where I got my info from.

I went to the afternoon session. Activities were good and it was nice to be able to thrash some one elses car, (beware anyone buying a cupra or FR in the near future with a reg beginning FY57, they have a chequered past). The only problem was the Scottish weather, which apparently blew all the telemetary sensors from around the track away and meant we couldn't do any laps, which was a big disappointment. Instead we were taken around the track for a couple of laps with Darren Turner driving in one of the Cupras. Was well worth it, i'm certain they wouldn't have let us ride the kerbs like he did and even though he didn't go higher than four gear, (for health and safety reasons!!), it was still quick.
