If you were being truly neat, you could hide the number plate light behind the bumper and cut a hole out for it or if the gap is big enough between bumper and panel, put some down facing LEDS in instead ...

i HATE MK2's with smooth boots LOOKS CRAP! imo!
and the scuttle pannel is defo staying! ecu heater motor ect ect needs to be acsessed!!

i think il be doing the seams on the back but thats it :)

oh prep is 80% of a good job but doing custom filler welding jobs is just asking for un-needed problems :( so trying to keep standard shape

rashcupra can i rack your brains a mo. i also want to smooth the seams on the back of my cordy. just wondered how best to do it. clean to bare metal then fill, or clean weld then fill. whats your idea on that. what are you thinking of.?

Weld it mate, my were fibre glassed then fillered and one slightly cracked. Theres alot of movement between the panels.

will grind it down to bare metal and put and fill it with weld grind it down then smooth over the top with a fine skim of filler jobs a gudun!
