no, it was a retro fit option offered by dealers from around 1997-1999

UK supplied, from sportstek/SBG - but no car ever left spain with it on - it's just like the aero kit offered now on the leon

You know you have a mk2 cordoba when you need a magnifying glass to find the wheels in the wheelarches.

you know you have a mk2 when you wish it had a hydraulic clutch instead of a cable that needs replacing twice a year

you know you have (had!) an MkII Seat Ibiza 2.0 16V GTI Cupra Sport when it takes 10 mins to SAY which model you have :)

You also know when you bought a 50k miler 4 years old for 6k that it will run for another 100k and 6 years with relatively few problems (or is that just me???) and only start to p1ss you off by breaking down A LOT in the last 2k miles - roughly the same timeframe as you have been talking about buying that new car!!! They have ears I tell ya!

you get a blowing exhaust fixed to discover a quiet grinding noise from the front that gets worse to find out that it is the drive shafts that are disintegrating.
