I recently picked up a set of electric door mirror from a Cupra at the breakers.
I picked up the loom and switch etc too.. as my SXE doesn't have them.

I've swapped the door loom out without any hassles, but can anyone tell me where the loom from the switch goes..? It seems to branch into two, with two slim plugs on each end.. and a single brown wire with female plug on the end, which I assume is to connect to a switched live somewhere..?

Thanks!

Anyone..?
Could someone with 'leccy mirrors just have a quick look under their dash and see where the wires from the switch in the Centre Console run too please...

Anyone else know..?
The two mirrors connect in the door easily enough, and the loom from the back of the switch plugs straight into the white connector block at each door 'junction'.

But where the bloody hell does the single brown wire connect? It's got a female block connector on the end, so it must attach somewhere! :(

Right can you post a pic of the wire in question. Ive had a look behiond the dash and can see the wire going from the switch which then splits somewhere and goes to each door. I cant see any single brown wire just 2 wires, brown and blue.

Ive got a pic so will try and post that tonight. But if you can post the wire your taking about the i can have another look and see if i can find it.

Thanks anyway Krishen, but I've sorted it this evening.
For future use (For anyone else in the same situation) the single brown wire was simply a ground. I couldn't find the other end of the socket.. Perhaps my car simply never had one.

So I just grounded it to a screw under the dash, tidied the cables and it's all working. :)
