so your saying it is ness bill?

am wanting to get one anyway

I've made it clear... I think.

You can get the power levels without, and you can get more for no extra effort when largeport, larger manifold and larger throttle..

The level to where gains are to be had are in the middle/upper range of BT..

Dont expect much from a K0x turbo and larger ports, throttles etc etc etc
Gains are going to be proportional to power level.

There is a lot of BS amongst the tuning community.. Opinions become facts, and for some, if someone else have done something differently, its often rubbished for no good reason.

Reality is whats out there doing the do for all to see.

Mine ran on stock inlet and throttle for some time. It made more power when it was changed for bigger items..

thats the way it is

Wish I could get hold of 007's in a reasonable time..
good news is there's a new one coming very soon which surpasses 007 flow performance, which was top of the tree before hand.

The methanol still has your name on it mate.

I agree with Bill about the large port stuff, with small port it can be done as i said before, but with larger items you can run less boost pressure to create the same power, which in turn keeps heat etc down. This is my understanding anyway.

On another note, my brother is going to borrow there timing gear from work to do some data logging with mine. 0-60, 0-100 etc etc.

But some advice for people going this route, the XTD clutch i bought does hold the power no probs, but its not nice at all. you get what you pay for. A Spec clutch is defo needed.

I've been toying with the smallport/largeport head thing for a while now. I've got a largeport head which i was gonna fit some valves to and get a ross machine inlet, but for a GT28rs sized turbo i'm not sure what to do. Just wonder if i'll see the benefits of spending over 1k in head work.
