Hi peeps

I'm looking at getting a mk2 Leon now that i've sold my beeza...I've spotted a 2.0TDi Stylance at a dealers that I am tempted by. The dear says it has a sports pack on?

Can somebody let me know what spec the car is likely to have off the top of their heads??! Its a '56 plate

Thanks in advance!!

I have a stylance with the sports pack the extras over the stylance are 17" alloys, sports seats and the sports suspension. Then it is the normal dual climate control, cruise control, etc spec of the stylance

When you say sports seats - do you have a picture? I've seen Stylances with red cloth seats - so does the Sports pack change these?

thanks

The red cloth seats are part of the sports pack. If I were you having owned the original sport Leon I would avoid the cars with the sports pack. The suspension is very hard and I personally don't like the red cloth. The wheels are nice though.

My other comment is that even though the FR has very stiff suspension, it is somehow a little more comfortable than the sport. Maybe SEAT played around a little with the settings.

Also, I am told by family that the ride in the back seats of the sport is horrible. The cupra and even FR in the back is ok however. Weird. Try it out thats all I say.

Cant quite stretch to an FR i'm afraid - have negotiated a great deal on the Stylance Sport so it'll have to be that...

I'm running coilovers on my Ibiza at the mo - trust me - I'm sure the Leon will be bliss in comparison! haha

Thanks

I have a 2.0 TDI Sport and have to applaud its comfort... maybe I am less sensitive than other folks but the ride in mine feels great... was used to a 97 Ibiza Cupra mind you so this may be why :)

It was up for sale along with my old one recently. Mine went very quickly as it had half the miles and was remapped. You would have been able to get a bit of a discount if you had haggled as I think it had been up for sale for a while..Not a long time in case you are worried though.

I only know it from seeing it there. Who did you deal with?

Glad you got a deal. As it happens I would expect it anyway. These guys are totally straight down the line and will do their best for ya.

I know all of them in there expecially Mike and Colin. It will be a sad day when they all leave as they will be difficult to replace.

That is my experience exactly and one of the reasons that i wanted to buy from them was the write-ups in this forum about them.

I have ordered an armrest for my car from them too which should be in today :)

Cant wait to pick mine up!! Need a remap tho :)

JK

Your gonna love it! I thought about a remap but im going to wait for a bit... the car is plenty quick for me and has so far (in a week at least) been returning 50mpg on my commute (computer estimate anyway) which is one of the main reasons for me buying the car. I have been driving like an old person tho

Can't agree on the seats in the sport, or the ride. My ref sport was unbelievably comfortable on the 650 mile round trip from Newcastle to Thruxton recently.

Have sat in the back of my dad's mk2 sport and that was fine as well.

i need the remap - im running CC-2 on my ibiza 130 at the mo - so the Leon 140 feels quite sluggish!!

I'm sure i'll love it - gettting the aero front, FR rear bumper and the 18's too - just to smarten it up a bit :)
