Was parked on a steep hill facing up the hill, started my car in the morning, and a "!" came up flashing, also an alarm going off.
When i rolled onto the flat and the car had run for about 15seconds it stopped.

Car drives fine, boosts ok and everything.

This morning, parked on pretty much flat (where i usually park) and it did it again.
What does this mean? Any ideas?

Thanks,

Andy.

i had this in mine when i fist got it and it never did it again. The new owner of my car seemed to have it still and turned out it was the ABS sensor i think.

I had this happen to me this morning, just driving along and all of a sudden got some beeping with the "!" flashing like mad and the tcs & abs lights coming on.

I pulled over switched the engine off and checked the battery connection and all my hoses. What ever caused reset all my MPG readings and the time and date.

Drove off again and nothing at all, no beeping no warning lights or anything. Dont know what caused it to go.

I think ill check all the fluids tonight, its in the car park now, which is perfectly flat. so will get a better idea tonight i think.

Thanks,

Andy.

I had this not long ago, just put some more brake fluid in even if it looks full. stopped mine from flash anyway :)

think the sensor is fairly high up, so even if only just slightly low will flag up a fault

mine only ever did it at speed, due to the vibrations the sensor couldnt pick up that there was some fluid there

Brake fluid.... but i also think it indicates when your brakes are faulty, as when i disonnected my brake lines the other week it flashed and beeped until the air was out of the system and i had a solid pedel again.
